Join the Diocese of Memphis and JMJ on a special pilgrimage to Seoul for World Youth Day 2027.
As a Diocese, we will be taking a large group of youth and young adults to Japan and ultimately to Seoul, South Korea from July 28-Aug. 10, 2027 to spend two weeks with pilgrims from all over the entire world as we grow in our faith together and experience the UNIVERSAL Catholic Church! Enjoy your first full day in Japan. Visit the Twenty-Six Martyrs Museum and Monument. Mass and dinner.
Attend Mass at the Urakami Cathedral befor visiting the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Musuem and Peace Park. Dinner.
Visit the Nagasaki mission house built by St. Maximilian Kolbe, then the museum of Dr. Takashi Nagai to expereience the story of his spiritual journey of peace and forgiveness.
Depart Japan for Seoul and WYD. Transfer to your lodging, prepare for WYD with your JMJ youth WYD Guide.
Seoul walking tour including historical, cultural, and spiritual highlights of the city. World Youth Day opening ceremonies and Mass this afternoon with the Archbishop of Seoul.
