The highlights of your pilgrimage include journeying to Assisi, passing through the Holy Doors of the four major basilicas in Rome, visiting holy sites in Florence, and witnessing the strength and vibrancy of our Faith through the lives of the saints and apostles!

What's included
Airfare from Phoenix
Seats are in economy class. Airlines do not allow upgrades on group tickets. Want an upgrade? Choose the land only option & purchase your flight DIRECTLY with the airline. Details posted in itinerary.
Airport transfers
Group transfers within Europe. Individuals traveling separately from the group must make their own arrangements.
Private JMJ Guide
Your guide will be faith-filled and knowledgeable. Information about them will be posted on the last slide of your itinerary.
Hotel Lodging
4-star hotel in Rome, other hotel lodging in Assisi. Details will be posted in the itinerary.
Transportation
Private coach transfers when possible (not in the center of Rome or Assisi). Walking will be a major part of your experience in Italy.
Meals except travel days
Two meals per day: Typically breakfast and dinner.

Day 1 - Thurs, Aug 7
Departure day
Depart Phoenix for an overnight flight to Rome!
Day 2 - Fri, Aug 8
Arrival day
Arrive in Rome, travel by private coach to Assisi, the medieval hillside hamlet of St. Francis and St. Clare, watch the sunset from the castle.
Day 3 - Sat, Aug 9
Full day in Assisi
Visit the Basilicas of St. Francis and St. Clare, along with a special visit to the tomb of Bl. Carlo Acutis, Experience the Portiuncula in St. Mary of the Angels.
Day 4 - Sun, Aug 10
Day trip to Florence
Day trip to Florence including the Duomo, the Baptistery of San Giovanni, and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Then transfer to Rome for the night.
Day 5 - Mon, Aug 11
Highlights of Rome
Pilgrimage to the Holy Door of St. Paul Outside the Walls, witness the Colosseum and Roman Forum, enjoy the Gesu and Trevi Fountain, visit Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, the Pantheon, & Piazza Navona.
Day 6 - Tues, Aug 12
Highlights of Rome
Pilgrimage to the Holy Door of St. John Lateran, explore the Catacombs of St. Callisto, the Holy Stairs, and Santa Croce.
Day 7 - Wed, Aug 13
Highlights of Rome
Participate in the Papal Audience and receive a blessing, Visit the Capuchin Crypt, Pilgrimage to the Holy Door of St. Mary Major, visit Santa Prassede, and the churches near St. Mary's.
Day 8 - Thur, Aug 14
Highlights of Rome
Pilgrimage to the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica, marvel at the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.
Day 9 - Fri, Aug 15
Departure day
