About this trip

Welcome to your Jubilee pilgrimage portal! The theme for the 2025 Holy Year is "Pilgrims of Hope." Your faith will be enriched by coming on this incredible once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage!


The highlights of your pilgrimage include journeying to Assisi, passing through the Holy Doors of the four major basilicas in Rome, and witnessing the strength and vibrancy of our Faith through the lives of the saints and apostles with pilgrims from around the world!

What's included

Airport transfers

There is one transfer for our United group from Rome Fiumicino. We will post the exact time on the second to last slide on the itinerary. Those who miss the transfer can meet the group at the hotel.

Private JMJ Youth Guide

Your guide will be faith-filled and knowledgeable. Information about them will be posted on the last slide of your itinerary.

Jubilee Registration

$50 included. Can fluctuate once actual prices are posted and registration begins.

Hotel Lodging

4-star hotel in Rome. Details will be posted in the itinerary.

Public transportation

Busses, metros and trains. Walking will be a major part of your experience in Italy.

Meals except travel days

Two meals per day: Typically breakfast and dinner.

Rome walking tours

Get your camera ready! Beauty on every corner with time to pray in many amazing Churches.

Pilgrimage to Assisi

Spending time on this incredible hill visiting St. Francis, St. Clare and now Bl. Carlo Acutis!

Depart your city for an overnight flight to Rome (if coming from the Americas)!

Arrival Day

For flights arriving before 11:00am to Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO)*, meet your guide for a bus transfer departing at 12:00pm.


*For later arrivals, meet at your lodging at 3 PM for check-in


Meet your guide in Rome, Opening Jubilee Mass at St. Peter's Square, dinner & overnight.

Highlights of Rome

Optional: Attend the Papal Audience in the morning. Walk past the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. Pilgrimage to the Holy Door of St. Paul Outside the Walls in the evening and participate in the US Pilgrims gathering. Dinner & overnight.

Highlights of Rome

Pilgrimage to the Holy Doors of St. John Lateran and St. Mary Major, pray on your knees up the Holy Stairs to the Pope’s historical private chapel. Witness the the pillar at which Christ was scourged at Santa Prassede & the relics of the Passion at Santa Croce. Dinner on own & overnight.

Highlights of Rome

Pilgrimage to the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica, Mass, time for prayer, and a tour. Visit the Holy Spirit Church with the relics of St. John Paul II, St. Faustina, and Divine Mercy shrine. Dinner & overnight.


Also taking place from 10:30am-6:00pm: 

Opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation at the Circus Maximus (Circo Massimo) in Rome

Pilgrim Walk and Jubilee of Youth Vigil

Pilgrimage out to Tor Vergata for an evening vigil with the Pope. Overnight under the stars.

Closing Mass of the Jubilee of Youth

Wake up early today for the highlight of our Jubilee pilgrimage, Mass with our Holy Father at Tor Vergata University. Afternoon pilgrimage back to hotel for rest. Free evening in Rome and dinner on your own.

Day trip to Assisi

Day trip to Assisi to visit the Basilicas of St. Clare along with time to venerate the relics of Bl. Carlo Acutis at St. Maria Maggiore. Lunch followed by a pilgrimage to the Basilica of St. Francis. Coach back to Rome followed by dinner and overnight.

Breakfast followed by a free day in Rome! Dinner and overnight.
